Qualifying Criteria

  1. The project promotes and spreads kindness and graciousness in the community.
  2. The project has a feasible implementation plan, with adequate risk consideration.
  3. The project is aligned with our Seed Kindness Fund values.
  4. The project can take on any shape - outreach event, advertising campaign, social media campaign, poster design and so on.

Grant Eligibility

  • Youths aged 14 to 26
  • For individuals or groups
  • Passionate about making a positive difference to society on the issue of kindness.
  • Able to seek endorsement from your school or organisation.

Form Submission

(2 weeks)

  • Applicants will need to submit a completed Seed Kindness Fund application form.
  • The form requires a teacher's signature and endorsement from the school or organisation.
  • A project proposal is to be submitted together with the application form.

Project Approval

(4 weeks)

  • If the project is approved, 60% of the approved funding will be credited to the designated bank account.
  • The remaining 40% will be released after project completion with claims submission and a final project presentation report.
  • The Seed Kindness Fund is capped at S$1,000.

Implementation Phase

  • Students are to keep a log of the project's key milestones and activities.

Project Completion

(8 weeks)

  • Collate all original receipts or certified true copy of original receipts for expenditure verification.
  • Photos of original receipts are accepted.
  • Not all types of expenditure can be claimed (please refer to the FAQ).

Report Submission

  • Students are to submit a detailed project report and a Statement of Account together with the claim form, receipts and media outreach form.
  • Students are to share their experiences through a 15 minute presentation to SKM with Q&A.
  • Students will also have to submit soft copies of the following: presentation slides, campaign photos and videos and campaign collaterals and publicity materials working files.
